Watching this now. This is dope

I wonder how Ice T feels about this. It's basically a rip off his Art Of Rap documentary

Does that mean no one can ever do another doc about lyricism?

I went to one of the premieres in Harlem. It had some OK moments (that I don't remember) but I didn't care for it. shyt was disjointed and didn't really examine lyricism in any kind of new/interesting depth. Seems more like a Mass Appeal showcase for some of its artists. The Tech 9ine and cac rap segments shouldn't have been in there and went on too long.

Ice T's Art Of Rap doc was critically acclaimed because it was one of a kind

Now we got this Word Is Born doc. We can't say Art Of Rap is one of a kind now

Dope doc. Get to see the greats talk about how they approach things. History lesson as well. Can’t complain.

Amazing!

Also didn't know rhymefest wrote on Glory. Salute to that brother for the work he is doing.

It was also dope to hear Nas break down his contribution to Getting Jiggy With It to an extent.
