A devastated mum-of-three has urged couples to not go to bed angry after she woke up from a blazing row with her husband to find him dead on the sofa.

She had told him that she was worried he was running himself into the ground and told her husband to sleep on the sofa for the night when they failed to resolve the dispute.

But when beauty therapist Mrs Murrell woke up the next morning she discovered that her husband had died overnight." But when beauty therapist Mrs Murrell woke up the next morning she discovered that her husband had died overnight.

Here's a bright idea: my husband is working a 16 hour shift, l bet he would really enjoy an argument afterward.

Exactly, pick your battles and more importantly, timing of the battles. She now has lots of guilt to carry and hope others can learn from it. Also know, anybody working that kind of hours will not last, so step in early on.

shut ya noise Stephanie and get your man's dinner ready

Sounds like a prince of a guy...sad he had it so rough at home...Wife looks high maintenance and did not appreciate him while alive.

Died to get away from her...

here's so many holes in this story it's incredible, but isn't it so much more believable when a woman tells it ? Reverse the situation and "Mikey" would be downtown in cuffs under accusation. The guy worked long hours because his wife is greedy, and when she realized she could get someone with more cash, she killed him. End of story. Hopefully the truth will come out, but it might not. In our sexist, anti-male society, not many will question HER version of the story.

Breh was working 7 days a week 16 hour days?

Sometimes folks, materials, and trips and whatnot just aren't worth it. She can't replace the time missed and now the guilt from this is going to be insane.

I don't know how it all went down, but from the story, she could've told him to chill out and enjoy their family time. Not that important to work yourself, literally, to death just to go to Disney. Material possessions don't mean as much if the people aren't even alive to enjoy them. Appreciate what you have friends, it could all be gone/lost in an instant. That includes people too.

He sounded like a great guy, "do anything for you" type. Couples argue all the time, married or not, I'm not blaming her for that, that's real life. I just hope she appreciated him and I"m sure the family did. You only get one life, find balance and enjoy it. Can't joke all day, and you can't work all day.

She did tell him to slow down, hence the argument in the first place.

Point is she was worried about his health and told him to slow down all else he would die, which he did.

She HAD him Sleep on the couch AFTER working 16 hrs. Come on breh, a woman can get her point across while still letting him sleep in the bed he's most likely paying for. No man deserves to sleep on the couch after 16 hrs of work unless it's his choice. Even if he didn't die that's unacceptable.

I feel you...

But let him know that all that stuff he working for is cool but his health is more important. She said he was doing all this to give his kids everything he didn't have. Why not let him know the effort is appreciated but we can make due with what we have. No need to work to death for "stuff" That's why this sound off to me, but RIP to homie.

If I'm pulling stunts like this, my wife BETTER step in and tell me she'd rather have me here than a whole bunch of stuff and trips to Disney world. That's a solid wife
