So the Syrians are carrying out chemical attacks on their own people to get America mad? I don't get it.

I'm trying to figure out the purpose behind it and why are they doing it. Also how do they act as a Proxy?

I think the assertion (and one I think could be very possible) is that the rebels or other groups against the Syrian govt are releasing the chemicals to frame the Assad government in order to gain American support/justification for attacks against Syrian forces.

By proxy, damage to Syrian forces would be damage to her ally Russia and her interest in the area. I believe he's claiming US's true intentions against Syrian is in effect to weaken Russia.

No exaggeration. The Syrians aren't doing what our media says. Its a lie. The US military are the ones doing the chemical attacks. They are then blaming it on Syria.

Proxy war means that the battle is really between the US and Russia but they are using different sides of another country to wage the battle. So in this case, the Syrian regime is being supported by Russia while the rebels are being funded by the US.

This same game has played out many times before in the past (i.e. Vietnam War, Korean War, Afganistan in the 80s, etc.).

Trump might be compromised by the Russians so how is he going to then wage war with them too.

If Asad gets removed out of power, then who will be the next president? Will this president be backed up by the Russians or the USA?

Either way, the bible could be true when it comes to Damascus. Not too sure why so many people live their because it is a war zone but i saw the news a few hours ago, and certain parts of Syria look modern. So, i really question the media. i feel like we are going through the same process after 9/11 happened when they went to war in Afghanistan or Iraq. Something seemed off!

More complex than that, but yes, Assad govt is fighting opposition "rebels". Theyre fighting any group challenging their authority over all land and area of Syria, including ISIL. US had been fighting along side groups wanting autonomous recognition from syrian govt, but in efforts only against ISIL.

Your problem is you believe the lies the media is spinning. That's nothing more than a show to keep the public blind to the truth.
