Anyone get a chance to peep this? I watched all three episodes yesterday afternoon. I thought they were very well done. They basically take a look at some of the major figures in WW2 and trace their history begining with WW1. So you see Hitler, FDR, Churchill, Mussolini, Patton and McCarthy as young men during WW1 and how events during that war shaped their attitudes and personalities when they got back home in the 1920s and beyond up to the end of WW2.

It's a good watch. Only nauseating part about it is they interviewed people from the Bush administration as "experts" in the documentary. Other than that, it was well done.

Seen bits and pieces of each parts, flipping back and forth.

One part that I thought that they covered well was Hitler/Stalin relationship: the pact they formed between Germany/USSR, how each side was trying to beat the other to the punch from the get go, then the official breaking off the alliance by Germany.

Hitlers obsession with Stalingrad :dahell:

I felt guilty for enjoying it because its a neo-cons wet dream of a series. Had Cheney, McCain, Rumsfeld, giving commentary. It also never addressed the Japanese internment camps or the morality of dropping the atomic bomb once Japan lost allies. I read a review that accurately described it as a documentary on Hitler disguised as a documentary about the two world wars.
