I'm pro police reform. I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that I have never had a good experience with a cop. I remember one time I got pulled over in Rockland, and the cop came to the window, apologized because he thought I wasn't wearing a seat belt. He could have easily made shyt up to cover his ass, but he didn't ask me for my documents. Yet, this is anecdotal, but I know not all cops are bad cops. With that said, for the cops that ARE bad. The fact that 99% never even get prosecuted is disgusting and needs to change.
That's not a good cop, that's a cop doing his job, and being a normal human being. That skewed view of that being a "good cop" and that being a "good experience with a cop" tells you all you need to know.
So what is a good cop to you?? A cop that lets you get away with everything??? Serious question.
There is no such a thing as a good cop, because it's not a cops job to be "good". It's his job to protect and serve. He gets paid for it. So when he does what he's supposed to do, that doesn't make him good, it makes him normal
What's a good/bad fireman? Bad fireman, someone who lets people inside of a burning building burn because he wasn't putting in effort? And a good one being what, someone who goes and saves them? Nah, he's doing his job.
There are cops who do their job to the best of their ability as they're supposed to, and cops who abuse their power.
There's normal, and there's bad. No good.
Here we go.
WTF kind of nonsense is this shyt?
They don't do shyt for free. Their JOB, J-O-B is to protect and serve. It's in the job description. They aren't good for doing their job, they are legally required to their job.
And people aren't bad at the jobs they are paid to do? LeBron James isn't a good basketball player because its his job?
By far the dumbest post I've ever saw on thecoli.
