Worst MITB briefcase winner

What was the point of Sandow winning MITB and cashing in on Raw just to lose to Cena. I honestly forgot he was on the roster until I checked wwe.com. Some guys like the Miz would win the belt but fade out of the picture not long after but damn Sandow lost to Cena went on a losing streak and pretty much disappeared off TV.

Kennedy, cuz he flopped and did the E a favor by getting hurt. fukk'im.

Sandow shouldn't be up there, because I'm sure shortly after he won, the plan to unify the titles was made, voiding out that case altogether.

As much as I hate the Miz, his run with the MITB case was booked pretty well. The case got him alot of heat(the good kind) and it only made sense for a cowardly, weasely, arrogant heel like Miz to cash in on an injured Orton, who was WWE's badass face at the time.

John Cena was the worst. The MITB briefcase is not supposed to be used in an honest manner.

yep and having Cena in a MITB waters down the concept anyway...same with Cena in a royal rumble..its just a given that he'll win no matter what # he gets.

I don't understand your logic. Yeah, I was a HUGE mr. Kennedy fan...many people here remember it well.

i dont remember him failing much around 2007, its just Edge was red hot, he became trash when he changed his theme

I'm going to go with Sandow, but that's more based on hindsight of what ended up happening (not Sandow specifically.) Should have had him slot himself into the TLC Unification match right before it started. Atleast that way his loss would have been more reasonable, as opposed to losing it on a random Raw. Just think they could have gone a better way with it. Ending would have been more creative too, I would think.

Sandow for the fact it didn't lead to anything and because Cody probably could have done more with it.

Also the briefcase is an interesting plot device for the fact that it brings attention to a heel or faces intentions and helps the crowd get behind them for a reaction better then any device the wwe has made in years.

It turned cm punk in to an underdog face champ one year then in to a sneaky heel the next and he cashed it in the same way both times. Rvd used it in a honorable way and it headlined one of the most intense pics ever where he came off as a tweeter even though he was heeling out.

I think a bad ass face should get it next like big e or roman reigns and have them say that they will cash in at maybe summer slam or mania and that he doesn't care who is champ that at that day he will face whomever and win. Adds a somewhat refreshing cash in to the equation
