Probably, WGN was going to order the tv series in 2017 but passed after they saw the pilot episode.

Probably, WGN was going to order the tv series in 2017 but passed after they saw the pilot episode.

But it also came after WGN decided to focus on going with cheap originals and reruns to air, and this show wasn't going to be cheap. It's why they canceled mostly all of their original content they were airing in 2017 despite Outsiders and Underground being two of their most heavily viewed shows ever.

I don't even think they do original content anymore based on their Wikipedia page and the list of TV shows on the WGN website.

As a Native American I say its really well written, and it's not like it lampoons Indians or says this is the definite portrait of them.

It's a killer storyline and kept me engaged, if the artwork and the writing were subpar I'd probably feel outraged lol
