Would a USA World Cup final have higher ratings than the Super Bowl?

The super bowl had 111 million viewers. I doubt it gets beat. U.S. vs Portugal drew about 25 million. If they advance and play Argentina, we'll see how the ratings go for that game to determine if the trend goes up. They did beat the finals, world series and Stanley cup tho. Only bcs game compared.

definitely.... theres a big difference when the whole country is behind one team, rather than difference sets of supporters

Depends on the time zone

This World Cup is almost perfect because Brazil is just an hour ahead of the US east coast. A USA World Cup final in the Americas could push it.

A US World Cup final in the GMT time zone or out in Asia or Austrailia means no chance in hell.

Yes.. at the moment you guys are just competing. Beat Belgium (you wont), the hype builds. Manage to win the QF and get into the semi's.. that would be crazy. Some how manage to win the semi's and get to the final.. the hype will be out of here.

None of that will happen breh.
