I haven't graduated yet, but I am thinking about selling my notes, the professors power point slides, lecture recordings, and other class materials including pdf versions of the books from my marketing classes.

So, it's basically like you took the class, especially if you get the recorded lectures. The only difference is you don't have homework, didn't have to pay thousands, and didn't have to attend class.

Courses include: Digital & Social Media Marketing, Brand Management, Product Management, Sales Promotions & Advertisement, Consumer Behavior, Marketing Channels & E-Commerce, & a few more in management and sales.

Some classes I didn't take (ex management, entrepreneurship, sales), but I can still get the required reading and notes ect from acquaintances.

Would anyone be interested in purchasing this? How much would you pay?

Nobody is going to buy your class notes. If you have info to share, then share it freely like everyone else in this forum.
Did you read?

It's not just class notes. It's the professor's power points, recordings of the lecture and the pdf version of the required readings/books.

It's basically the whole class.

I'm not giving that away for free

Especially not after I paid 1-2 thousand to take the class. :dahell:

How would someone get rich off of selling class items? What gave you that dumb idea :dahell:

& I doubt you all have full marketing classes on this board with books, lectures from real professors, study plans, power points ect.

You do know that majority of those classes are from the early 2000s right?

It's missing about 20 years of information. (I guess that's why it's free. lol)

You know, before social media and before eCommerce was more popular than brick and mortar retail.

Things have changed a lot since then and are constantly changing.

Those classes from 2001 are not going to cut it for people who are interested in learning about how to operate in marketing/business during this time period.

As a person currently in grad school and having taken some of the courses you mentioned, all the shyt they teach is online for free, no secrets were taught in your classes.

Yeah, you're probably not going to find many (any?) people who are going to pay for this.... good luck though.

I'm 100% sure anything you have can be found for free online anyway, and pretty easily.

I wish you the best in your venture but it's unlikely this will work for 2 reasons:

1. The information in those class notes / PowerPoint decks / whatever is available for free. I guarantee it. Name any top business school and faculty there will readily admit that the basic business curriculums hardly differ between schools and that the information can now be found via free MOOCS or other platforms.

2. The things that people DO pay for, such as 1-on-1 instruction and bright classmates to bounce ideas off of, can't be replicated with notes. Now maybe (maybe) if you are very knowledgeable in a particular subject you could make some money tutoring depending on which subject it is.

So yeah, I imagine it would be a tough sell to charge for something you can find free with 2 minutes of Google. If you want to get paid you must add value in some way.

I Am Everywhere.
Other issue here is that you're trying to profit off someone else's work, the professor's lectures and whatnot.

The hustle is admirable to an extent, just apply it to a different product.
