Real life....I've done 1 hour commutes/2 hours roundtrip before, about 40 miles one way, wasn't THAT BAD...but
140 miles one way.........:jbhmm:

1) Would yall wake up at 5:15 am to be at work by 8 am, leave work at 5 pm...and drive back 2 hours again to be home at 7 pm.....Rinse and repeat 4 more days? :patrice:......(If my calculations are right, that only leaves me 2-3 hours of "me time" per day)

2) Would yall maybe find an inexpensive hotel in the middle of the week, stay a night or two to break up the routine and travel?? :lupe:

3) And No.....there is no option for commuter bus, commuter/regional train, or sharing a ride with someone.....and no Uber... :dead:

Edit: Thanks I've answered my own question, when I looked at my last time commuting that long
Previous: 1 hour = 40 miles one way
Future: 1 hour = 70 miles one way; 2 hours = 140 one way

This ain't the Bay Area, L.A., NY, or DC, so I know what my solution is going to be :francis:

Time wise it's doable. 2 hours To do you ,8 hours of sleep, and work but do you want to do it. And you gotta be making enough to cover the gas

I had to commute from Philly to Allentown, PA (about an 1 and 1/2) for about a month...I only did it because it would only last a few weeks, but I would not have been able to keep it up if I had to...the commute would take a lot of my paycheck w gas/tolls and my quality of life would've sucked exponentially
