What DJ Quik album isn't better than Compton?
I'm sure Dr. Dre being forwarded some of the film budget to contribute tracks to the movie and cinematic scores (did he get that role?) had something to do with Dr. Dre actually releasing something without worrying about his meticulous standard for quality control

it took a minute for compton to grow on me and when it did after months of not listenin' to it and then goin' back to listenin' to it after wantin' to go back and revisit it, it was like "DAMN!", it clicked
