Would it be possible to add some mini smilies as post icons?

You know how when you're making a thread, there are the post icons below the message body that people hardly use? What if we made miniature versions of some of the most popular non-animated smilies (like say , , , , ) to use in their spots?

I don't know what they'd look like reduce to that small size, but I'd imagine that there could be a few that would still look good and maintain some of the image quality.

Yeah some of them look pretty bad.
