Would it be retarded to buy a 2012-2015 CLS 550?

These mechanics ain't shyt and I'm real close to trading in my car so I ain't gotta deal with them. Folks can't even do a simple task:francis: I doubt I make the move, but idk.

A CLS550 is right up my alley in regards to price and performance. A simple tune will net 510hp and 700tq.

I'm just worried about maintenance killing me:whoa:

I'm not sure if those cars have the air-suspension but if they do and you're worried about maintenance, skip the CLS and skip it HARD.

My dad has a CLS AMG (older model, I forget what year) with the air-suspension.

He basically has to pay $2k every other year to get it fixed.

That’s dumb, he can just convert it from air to coilovers

My current car i bought got coilovers and I don't care for em. Just too much off a hassle. There's nothing wrong with the ride persay but getting under it is a task. I tried to get a wheel alignment and shyt was sitting to low. Imma have to lift it one of these days

I like a more sporty ride anyway :yeshrug: I wouldn’t want floaty on a CLS anyway.

I don't think the CLS is floaty. It might be since I ain't never drove one, but they supposedly firm up in sports mode.

Sounds like you lowered it too much. Slammed for a daily is annoying af. I like a and there’s coilovers where you can adjust the dampening on the fly with the press of a button. You can do an aircup system for your front to lift it if you really like the lowered look

Nah I didn't lower it, whoever had it before me did it. I think air suspension is the way to go, but I understand why folks choose coilover.

With that said, I'm still looking at the cls wondering if imma pull the trigger within the next couple months
