I think this works for both teams if they can get contracts right for the trade. It gives GS another big in the absence of Bogut and STAT would fit perfectly in their system offensively. Lee has barely played all year so its not like you are taking anything away from the team. STAT could play off of Curry (P&R) and provide them a scoring option in the post (no matter if starting or coming off the bench). I also think that getting STAT would take Steph to the next level as a playmaker and make him a constant 10apg threat due to having a great finisher to roll to the basket.
For the Knicks
, I don't quite know Lee's contract, but he is a guy that knows how to fit in with a team and play winning basketball, he wont be a problem in the locker room, gives them a dude who can focus on rebounding and team play
. Aint too much you can do to help NY right now, but Lee would not be a bad move at all imo.
