I think this works for both teams if they can get contracts right for the trade. It gives GS another big in the absence of Bogut and STAT would fit perfectly in their system offensively. Lee has barely played all year so its not like you are taking anything away from the team. STAT could play off of Curry (P&R) and provide them a scoring option in the post (no matter if starting or coming off the bench). I also think that getting STAT would take Steph to the next level as a playmaker and make him a constant 10apg threat due to having a great finisher to roll to the basket.

For the Knicks :mjcry:, I don't quite know Lee's contract, but he is a guy that knows how to fit in with a team and play winning basketball, he wont be a problem in the locker room, gives them a dude who can focus on rebounding and team play :yeshrug:. Aint too much you can do to help NY right now, but Lee would not be a bad move at all imo.

Just not worth it cap wise. Lee is scheduled to make 15mil next season. Don't get me wrong, Lee is tremendous talent, but he's just coming off of an injury, and it's not wise to pay 15mil for a player who might not even play.

GS wouldn't want Amare just because he's making 23mil this season, and they are over cap as it is anyway. Plus he doesn't play defense, and that's really a key need for GS

Fasho. I know cap wise would be the biggest issues with both teams. However, GS has been good defensively this season without Lee touching the floor so its not like you would be taking something away. I thing the benefits from STAT offensively would far outweigh the negatives defensively. Kerr has implemented a system and they are very good defensively on the perimeter (Steph is very underrated with his on ball D) that helps Stoudemire with this team. Can you imagine a STAT and Steph P&R, even at this age STAT is still one of the best finishers in the game, it would be hard as hell to stop that shyt bruh.

The Knicks simply have no want or need to do this without Golden State attaching a 1 AND a 2 with Lee

:snoop:
Career stats FG 53%, FT 78%, rebounds 9.8, assists 2.4

He just came back from injury and has looked good.

He's a former all star that earned that right
Yea he's a good player. Tremendous talent is stretch Armstrong stretching it, son. As a matter of fact, he's more of a good player because of his motor and hard working than having great talent
