Yeah. Im willing to put myself in much worse situations with critters and crawlers. I want to do pest control/extermination. That stuff doesn't bother me.

Funny story I actually did 2 interviews with pest control companies. Through covid. Both were like "Yes!!!!! You'll be a full on tech (no sales) by the 2nd or 3rd interview they were like " we want you to start on the phones, then you'll do door to door sales, then you'll build your own network of clients that you continue to work with and service."

I'm like nah, that's not what I'm looking for, I understand that's what y'all need, but you can have someone else cold call people and knock on doors and schedule me for the control aspect. I just want to get in the truck, go to the houses or businesses do the work and cut out. I'll upsell if obviously what I'm doing or treating ain't gonna be enough but I'm not doing sales work.

Needless to say these companies ain't hiring like that. They say they are. But reality is you're a damn salesman and you work about 9 to 12 hours a day to what amounts to about $10-11 and it's roughly 6-7 days a week because both of those companies had days where they just want you to come in the office and call people on the phone and on the other day go door to door, no control work.
