So I'm talking with my boy and we discussing who are the elite upper echelon black folks and how we need them to represent us instead of these rappers and ratchet entertainers.

So I mention the Obama's, Denzel Washington, Spike Lee, Oprah, and then I bring up Will Smith and the Smith family and breh like "The Smith family ratchet as hell :mjlol:"

But I digress... They have ratchet moments, but to say they're overall ratchet is a bit of a stretch. And I know the term "ratchet" has different meaning to everyone, but I'm not seeing the Smith family twerking on tables, cussing out servers, and getting kicked out of restaurants if they were just regular people. But I damn sure see DaBaby and Meg The Stallion doing all that.

I would not call them ratchet, but Jada and those kids are weird as hell.

Shes the type that burns scented candles, talks about life energy, and let’s the 18 and 19 year olds run trains on her.

Will is in the gold standard of Black actors, but his home life seems odd and stressful.

I wouldn’t say they ratchet, they are more eccentric/ new age/ hippie type family.
Scientology adjacent.

A lot of Hollywood families be on that shyt.

They are just a Black version. So it seems extra weird to many black people.
