Basically they had a government program to make producers in the food industry stop putting so much sodium in foods. Turns out it was successful, the population consumed about 15% less sodium and they had a big reduction in heart attack and stroke rates. So for those of us outside of the UK...would you be in favor of a government program to cut back on sodium? Or is this something the government should stay out of?
