it hadnt been started for 2 years before he got it. he put some new brakes on it and did some other car shyt im not familiar with. ive known this kid for most of my life too hes a dope mechanic. but i spoke toanother friend and he told me to stay away :patrice:

No. Sitting is the worst thing that can happen to a car. Even if he did a lot of work to the car, a lot components may have rotted out. Buy it if you want but understand you will be at the mechanic off and on for months also. Part for a Renault are hard to come by and you will be using mostly aftermarket parts at this stage.

At that price you could always junk it and break back even.

I just sold a 1992 Toyota Camry with 210,000 miles on it for $400. shyt still ran good too, but I told the lil homey I'm not responsible for shyt that goes wrong on that bytch.

depends..... one good thing about buying cars from mechanics is that if anything goes wrong you know who to go to to get it fixed usually for free.....

any 20 year old car is gonna have issues no matter who sells it to you, at least buying from a mechanic you know its been looked over...
