I used to date a women who was bipolar, she was sexy, sweet, fun as well as very bright.:ohlawd:
I didn't know at first, until around 5 months into the relationship. She would be all happy and stuff one day or perhaps weeks, then she would be psycho. :snoop: I caught her at time where she would just be freaking out, maybe PMS .... so I speculated, not like I know much about it. When I asked whats was wrong, she told me she was bipolar. I didn't know how to react until I read up on it. I dated her for about a month and a half afterwards, and then broke it off, not because she was bipolar or ill for that matter.

Anyways, that was a messed up time, and I wanna know whether you would date someone knowingly who is ill, or continue on a realtionship with someone who is mentally ill?

Once knew a dime rican who had schizophrenia that I wouldn't have minded getting with.

Honestly, it doesn't matter tho

if u have a significant other then u should accept that person for whatever he or she is.

If u can't then ur a sh1tty person and they deserve someone better

Too many people are in relationships simply because they deem them beneficial to them in some sort of way, which is kinda phony imo.

:manny:

btw, u also have to take in account that virtually anyone can be diagnosed with a mental illness including yourself (thinking too highly of ones self and being overly confident, self absorbed could have you labeled with Narcissistic personality disorder, or go through a few bad life altering experiences that leave you feeling pretty low and miserable and now you're diagnosed with severe depression)

So keep that in mind before you judge or have this ol' "I'm separate from "those" people" perspective on things b.

They say psychotic and erotic are next-door neighbors. That's all good until the relationship suffers hardships and that crazy starts working against you.

Yeah of course. THe issue is when they start treating you like shyt because of said mental health issue.

And I've been on both sides of the coin. When I was at my worst, I put some women through some terrible shyt.

My husband is very patient and understamong and IM bipolar schizophrenic. We've been together 9 yrs. It can be hard at times when IM off my memeds and don't wanna be better mentally. But I try my best to stay on my meds. He's good to have around I'll use him as my bank to keep from overspending. He's learned to be firm with me which sometimes turns me on. Every mentally I'll person needs a support team and my husband is the best at it.

I personally couldn't do it. Mental illness is no joke, I'd be scared to even sleep. Roll over and all you see is a pair of eyes looking at you like :demonic:
