I'm currently talking to someone online who lives in Paraguay. We video chat often. We have so much in common. We both love Sailor Moon. We both love purchasing and eating rotisserie chicken. We both love listening to techno music. She always shows me videos of her hiking adventures, and even went so far as to ask me to come visit her in Paraguay. One thing that we don't have in common is the fact that she doesn't have arms or legs. She told me she got into a bad wood chipper accident when she was 18, and it basically disassembled her. We've had so many laughs over the past few years while we were both on lock down because of Covid. As previously stated, she keeps insisting that I come visit her so that we can ride llamas on her stepfather's llama ranch. I'm hesitant to continue on with this relationship because I've never dealt with anyone, who didn't have arms and legs, before. At the same time, I'm feeling tremendous guilt from confronting what I would consider ableism, on my part. So what do you guys think? Would you continue on with this relationship, and see where it goes? Would you ever date someone who was in an oblong state? I really like llamas.
