this girl i went to school with dealt with heroin, going through the ups and downs of addiction. she just got out of prison for a three month bid, and i was startled by how good she looked. the last time i ran into her, she was a hot mess. but now? got her weight back, thick as fukk, color back in her face, etc.

she asked for my number and started hitting me up last night. said she wants to slide through and chill.

No. Lots of heroin addicts will stay clean for a couple months then relapse. Especially ones who are only clean because they were forced to become clean by the system. She should be going to meetings and doing things to keep her mind busy not "just chill" with whoever. That's a first sign of someone who will relapse soon.

She should focus on finding support groups with long term sober individuals who can relate and offer her support and help to stay clean..
Not "normies".

A lot of females turn to drugs because they have issues with themselves. It's a coping method. And if you're just trynna fukk.. That's gonna fukk wit her head and self esteem if you lead her on. She's newly sober and probably going through all sorts of emotions and feeling vulnerable..

Don't do it.

Yup.

My aunt was a heroin addict for 30 years. She's been sober for 3 years now but She was always in and out of jail for a few months and sober for 3-5 here and there then start doing drugs again. 3 months ain't shyt when you been using for years and there's so much damage done mentally and its easy to just get high to numb yourself and it's your instinctive coping method.

shyt, I haven't touched a drug (well besides weed) in 5 years and I still struggle with lots of guilt.
