Would YOU Leave your 80/90k Position to be a Weed Dispensary Manager?

I was in my local establishment & Inquired about how the girl who was helping me there get her position.. I ended up talking to the owner and he said he was looking for a new manager. The field Im in is somewhat similar to what they'd be looking for in terms of competency. And I really just want to be mellow and not talk to corporate cacs all day.

Only drawback for me is Im on this constant wave of success. Went from 40k to 85k in 4 years w this company going from sales to management. Although I dislike the corporate game, I like being a 6 figgie niggie(almost)

If thats what fulfills you. Managing a drug empire. If you want less money so you can have less pressure as a drug addict, its your life, friend.

Corporate America is for people that arent hustlers for the most part.

I'd manage it for a while build some connects then open my own shyt, let somebody else work there and retire early

Drugs are used to erase pain and help an individual battle through an ailment, not become dependent and flattened from abuse. Dopefiends aka potheads aka drug addicts think recreational use of weed is alright but you know, seeing people who smoke every day, i gotta say thats wrong friend. They act like numbskulls and seem out of touch and physically dilapidated. Just generally crusty all around

I like weed ALOT but iono if id leave a position paying that much when dispensaries is still cash business, meaning no benefits or 401k or paying into ss right now.

I'd look at the prospects of the owner's dispensary. Does he plan on opening more shops, weed isn't even legal in Cali so if/when it does become legal than business can really go up. Like someone else said, I'd do that and pickup a side hustle. Learn as much as you can and look to start your own once weed is legalized over there.
