Have you thought how much insight you'd lose from that do over change? It may seem like you'd create a new life in the now which is all sunshine and rainbows by erasing the pain but it isn't actually that way at all.
Look at those cotton wool, helicopter parent golden children that fall to pieces when reality greets them and you'll see what I mean That and this:
A lot of people don't realize how important they are in the grand scheme of things as a throwaway comment you made may have inspired someone to do something which is another link to a random tangent thinking different who then went on to change the world.
These "little things" are actually vital and each story is oddly specific and tailored to perfection for the awareness Witnessing it. Realizing this whilst living is the trick and not quite so simple. I definitely feel there is a link between pain in your incarnation and the level your Soul is playing this Game of the 5 senses.....

Yeah, its wild how little things can have hefty consequences. That clip nails it because a lot of people don't realize that what they're actually blaming as their main problem in life from back when, isn't.
If it was the fact that it was conscious and explicit would mean you can change how you think about it but the fact you ruminate on dead air with no shifts is the hint you need to dive deeper into your awareness for a true solution.
Thats usually what they want to edit or shift, like catching the one that got away, buying that lottery ticket that wins instead of a brew to sip etc.. but don't realize the consequences may be way different. That and all options play out anyway as its a multiverse thing. Thats also interesting as I'm quite certain you can flip variables between incarnations via intuition and resonance.
May sound woo woo but we've all meant one person who was this, somehow randomly leveled up and is now that and when asked all he can say is "I don't know. I just got out of bed one day and thought "I'll do this!", did it and then the rest shifted". Its something I've noticed with a handful of people and its akin to a firmware upgrade of how they're thinking that then renders a new version of them in the flesh.
