GA native. Lived in the A, Macon, and even in some stick counties. It offers both Urban and Rural. There is a significant AA population...state wide...not just Atlanta. I would/am going to be looking around Smyrna or other outerlying towns a couple exits away from Atlanta myself to set root. You can go a bit further out and purchase some acres, a nice fish pond installed, 2 story house, and some pet huskies....and live like a black lord.

Moderate four seasons.
Close to the unfrozen ocean.
Southern Belles galore
You are neighbored with good southern/states cities all with dope annual fests/festivals/homecomings/HBCU's/theme parks/vacation destinations/ etc
Skip and hop away from Bahamas, Cuba, etc...
etc....

Massachusetts got bomb fresh crab and clam chowder I heard tho.
