Would you say that most white milleneals do these two things?

-Virtue Signal
Essentially "thoughts and prayers" for issues but don't do anything. Preach diversity, feign empathy for issues (i.e middle East, starving children) yet don't have any minority friends.

Calling out things that are "wrong" to feel as though they are inherently good people

-Fake Nice
Empty Gestures ("If there's anything you need let me know"). I've had it where I've had former colleagues of mine would run into me and say "Hit me up!". I didn't because I know they didn't mean it. You may see fake niceness in places where people congregate often such as work or church.

Not saying other races don't do it but given my interactions I've seen white, especially liberal minded ones, do it the most.

Yes I made a "black people obsessing over white people" thread but I'm asking because many of us interact with them on a daily basis.

I call it the veil of tolerance...

People will say and imply and do things in order to pacify others for the sake of tolerance...

It's how modern Western societies function.

You hear about some terrorist attack in Spain...you hop on Twitter, along with multitudes of other people and say shyt like..."Pray for Spain"

You hear about some poor kid being shot the police, you hope on Facebook and say some shyt like..."Stop police brutality..."

The whole point of these things...isn't to provide awareness or bring about change because we don't need awareness...we have a 24 hr news cycle...and we have politicians...

The whole point of these things is to communicate that "Hey, I am tolerant, and I am a good member of society..."

And of course the shyt is fake...

Western democracy and civilization has reached a point where people do not take action instead they want to have "discourse", "conservation", and "understanding"...which pretty much means...do fukking nothing.

Along with the institution of private property and having at-will employment and yadda yadda...where everything is up to an individual to secure his or her own daily bread...pleas and confessions of tolerance is part your personal brand. Ultimately ever single person in a Western style democracy is a product and they are selling themselves to the market of public opinion.

What would you think of someone that hears about a terrorist attack and doesn't really have any sort of opinion on it?

What would you think of someone that hears about a Black kid being shot down by the police and they said something like..."I don't have enough information about if it was right or wrong..."

Would you wanna be friends with that person?

Or most important...would you wanna WORK with that or hire that person?

Tolerance is ultimately about money and capitalism...

Markets can't work if nobody likes the other party. And I am talking about labor markets, capital markets, fukking financial markets. That's why corporations donate to charity and shyt...it's a damn marketing expense. That's why athletes all have charities and shyt.

Instead of creating an actual culture where people care and have the time to contribute to the world beyond just working...we have Twitter and Instagram and Facebook...to just say mass produced cliches...and go back to work....

I think I see it more working in tech which is overwhelmingly liberal and dominated by white males.

Also living in cities with pockets of white liberals I've seen this. San Francisco is one of the most diverse cities in the US yet incredibly segregated.

Hollywood is similar. They're few roles for blacks in in it. You see roles for Indians and Asians are few as well and stereotypical at many times yet they are very liberal and talk out on politics.

the problem with the logic of "everyone does it" besides my opinion that @CharlieManson isn't black, is the fact that white people largely have the power to impact change.

we need to stop acting as if there is some equal distribution of resources and power on the planet between whites and non-whites. there isn't.

"western civilization, corporations, oligarchy, facism, various markets, democracy"...all tools used to continue to perpetuate the confusion that empowers white supremacy.

Capitalism is really slavery ... we primarily work in soulless ungratifying jobs and most earn far less than they are worth.

i personally follow brother neely fullers compensatory code concept. there is no one size fits all.

has nothing to do with waiting on white people, and everything to do with continuing to point out that they will do nothing and it is in their nature to uphold the system they benefit from.
