In Germany, it's illegal to fly the nazi flag. It's illegal to spread nazi propaganda and it's illegal to throw nazi salutes in public or do gatherings with explicit nazi symbolism.
German youths are taught that nazism destroyed Germany, and that it was one of the worst things in German history.
I'm waking up this morning to the news that 2 democrats were killed by a white man who was specifically targeting liberals. 5 years ago these people tried to break into the capital and kill law makers. 3 years ago one of them broke into Nancy Pelosi's house with the aim of beating her to death with a weapon and nearly killed her husband. 5 years ago one of them went traveled from out of his city to a city where a protest was occurring and killed 2 men.
There is a clear pattern of violence with these people and it's clear that the rhetoric they're exposed to which is mainstream is causing harm. These people are also in the police, in the military, and want ICE to be an American gestapo busting into people's homes and workplaces or accosting them in public and demanding proof of the correct papers.
They've proven that they are a force for white supremacy and white supremacy itself has become far more mainstream than I've ever seen it in my life time. The richest man in the world is literally out here throwing nazi salutes and we are less than one year deep into Trump's second presidency.
Speaking for myself, I would absolutely vote for someone who runs demagafying America. Whether it's to designate maga as a terrorist organization like the Klan, and devoting patriot act level surveillance on them including sending them to guantanamo bay, or straight up fining any praise of maga from the media, and putting federal charges on anyone maga affiliated who harms a public figure or group of more than 2. Tolerating these people has not given America ANYTHING positive. Our people less healthy because these morons reject science around vaccines, our goods are more expensive because they dont know how trade or diplomacy work, our streets are less secure because theyre walking around itching to kill and beat innocent people, our schools are less secure because they're raising school shooters and while they're in office they don't make any meaningful changes to prevent these events from happening again.
I hope some of yall put a stamp on this thread and come back to it every month or every other month when--not if--but WHEN a magat(s) does something again that leads to someone or multiple people's deaths. Post if you still stand by what you wrote or if you might have changed your mind since then.
