Wouldn't it be wise for players to wait until the last minute to declare for the NBA draft?

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
I mean seriously. :mindblown:

They already have to option going back after they declare once the draft order is set.

I couldn't allow myself to get drafted knowing i'm going to get picked by a bumb ass squad with a shytty organization.

But todays player seem to only care about their brand and making money. Winning is 3rd on the list.

Well for the most part most of the top picks lose like in the 2nd round of the tournament so winning isn't ingrained but there's like a specific and long process with being a possible pick, waiting till the last second also affects school dude, cause there are deadlines to apply for other semesters and that affects eligibility

They should care about money first, since they've been working for free their whole lives.

And fukk outta here with this winning shyt. The whole point is for the worst teams to get the best young talent. Y'all complain when great players go to already great teams but then complain about (potentially) great players having to go to bad teams.

Besides, if you're a top prospect and decide to go back to school because you'll be drafted by a garbage organization, guess what? You'll be in the exact same position next year. All you did was cost yourself a few millions.

Most of the top players in the league today went to garbage teams when they were drafted. The good players can overcome that though, especially in a sport like basketball. Football is a different story since it's so system based and the players have little leverage. In basketball the star players have way more leverage and can finesse things in their favour.
