There seems to be a power struggle between the young prime minister and the old speaker of the parliament. Clashes of two different eras of u will. Whatever the case, this will most likely blow over.

Kheyr is selling away somalia's resources he needs to go. He was going to auction off minerals and oil in kenya soon but i think it got cancelled due to parliament putting pressure on him. Remember this is the same guy who sold 90% of somalia future oil revenue and worked at somoil

Somebody didn't get paid?
Theres ongoing battle between the pm and house of speaker. Basically they are trying to get rid of each other. Heres someone else explaining it

The answer is there has been bad blood and animosity between Speaker Jawaari and PM Kheyre for some time.

Jawaari a seasoned man with much experience who worked in the civil government of Somalia and leads a separate branch of government that is not in sync with the PM.

What is it about?

There has been a motion against PM Kheyre in the Somali Parliament for a long time. In previous years Parliamentarians would stir motions against the PM or President to make money (their cash machanism to pay for hotel rooms, food, travel, family expenses).

After getting money they would keep quiet for sometime and if the cash received from previous motions runs low they would start again and bring forth another motion.

Should we be worried about Kheyre's dictatorial tendencies?

The answer is Yes and No.

No, because Somalia needs tough leadership. The PM mistreated Abdirahman Abdishakur a MI6 spy who also worked with the Emiratis to destabilise Somalia.

He was silenced as recent as yesterday when he wanted to hold a press conference.

Everyone fears Kheyre in Mogadishu as he is not afraid to use force.

Yes we should worry because naturally heavy handed tactics bring heavy handed opposition responses.

What are Kheyre's objectives?

His objectives are to get rid of Speaker Jawaari so no motion will be brought against him and make Parliament toothless and subservient to him.

Somalia isn’t cursed breh

Despite the political incompetence, civil society and business is going strong especially in Mogadishu. But the problem is that without government, you can’t make life easier for the less fortunate and develop the country quicker

Also, AMISOM isn’t staying forever. There is donor fatigue and they are slowly withdrawing troops the next couple years
