Those early "derranged" Mankind promos were VERY dope, and are largely overlooked on this board because almost all TSCers hate Mick 
His series of sit down interviews with J.R. in 97' is really GREAT and well thought out stuff, easily the most intriguing and entertaining work of his career

See this is what I'm talking about...all of that was great writing. People say I talk down on Wrestling today because they feel I "grew out of it". The Mankind storyline was cool because it incorporated a "shoot" element that made it seem real. Talking about his actual past and how he came up using different personas and stuff. Made it all feel real.
