Top Notch
I was bored last night was scrolling through youtube and listening to songs I never saw or heard before, then I ran into this.
[ame=http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/video.php?v=wshh9NfFU29k231GfhyP]Video: Wayne Brady & Mike Tyson - Every Little Step (Comedy Spoof)[/ame]
at Mike Tyson
Brehs, I am a fairly young cat at 24. I then wondered why Bobby Brown was so famous (other than knocking up Whitney and doing crack with her).
The only Bobby Brown I knew was
and he wasn't a great singer.
I must say I saw this video Cool It Now. I must say I was impressed. An anti-simping song made for the 80s. Too bad that lead singing dude didn't listen.
Also that lead singing dude's voice is like they removed his testicles.
A lil corny but they were rapping too in the primitive style.
Then I saw this video, and said damn, this is how Jamie Foxx got his start.
Playing a manager in a music video. Well I kind of liked the song eventhough it was a bit sensitive and kind of androgynous but hey it was the 80s i guess.
Went further and found the group splintered off to make this
and
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cDLZqe735k"]Bobby Brown - My Prerogative - YouTube[/ame]
and then I was floored to find that Bobby Brown sold 7 million records and Bell Biv Devoe sold 4 million on one album.
Then the lead singing dude with the high pitch voice only sold a million on his solo debut.

What the fukk happened, it seems they were pushing him hard like Beyonce to Destiny's Child or Michael Jackson to the Jackson 5 to be the next star.
