They only lasted a couple of years but they were a really good mag.

Best wrestling mag of that era, still got a few of em in storage. The feeling of just buying that bytch and reading it in the car on the way home..

Yup, great mag, I've still got a bunch of them stored away too.
It clearly cost a lot to put together, though. High-quality photos and pages. I think they probably overestimated their audience. The people who bought it loved it, but there just weren't enough people buying it, probably because it was more expensive than the competitors.

I remember seeing pictures of the Japan deathmatches in magazines & being like just of how violent the pictures were.
Used to be the only reason to go to the stores with people. They would be shopping & I'd be reading through the magazines. Then their ready to leave & I'm still reading
so I had to try & smooth put the thing in the cart

I forgot all about that mag. The one thing I remember about it was one of the issues having an article about a WCW/WWF/ECW dream PPV.. and my ass at the time was about as big a wrestling fan could be and that article sparked me to make my own fake Wrestling Supercards and have them played out with action figures or between myself and my friends fake wrestling each other.
