I'll share this all with you. 3 years ago I started my career through the police academy. this video has a lot more to do with the way police act right now than you think. this very video is what is shown to you going through the academy. the stop (I beleave happened in the Carolinas) and was for an expired registration. I was shown this along with graphic pictures of the aftermath of this traffic stop. the man was a very insecure unstable individual with PTSD this happened back in 1999 Before the 9/11 attacks and before what you all are referring to as the beginning of the police state. the very being of this video in the academy is ment to show would be officers what happens if you don't act quickly. we were told as soon as the officer saw the gun he should have put him down and rightfully so. the officer gave this man every chance to withdraw and stop his actions even after the rifle was 1st shown. this video in the academy backfired and pretty much scares the shyt out of every officer who sees it. this video is the reason I dropped out of the academy. it really puts you into a mindset that this could be anyone you pulled over. And for those of you saying all police should die. You are truly sick in the head. Yes there are many bad apples, yes many of them need to be held accountable for what they do but the majority of them are people with family's. that at the end of the day want to protect you and make it home to see there family's. there is a certain way you need to behave around cops. I've been pulled over many times. I also carry a gun in every one of my cars. when pulled over interior lights on, 4 ways on, engine off, windows down, and after you pull out your wallet put your hands on the wheel. If you have a gun identify it and give the officer the option to hold it until he lets you go. not only do you leave safe and unharmed also 9 times out of 10 you are going to leave with only a warning. they are people to remember that.

If he was black on the other hand, most likely the cop would have seen him as "the enemy" "a villian" or a threat, and gunned him down a lot earlier.
