Cliffs?

Edit - I watched it.

HBK :scust:

Mick Foley was in the title picture in early 99, he should've been in the main event along with Rock and Austin. If anything, he could've taken the pin costing the Rock the title and it would've set up a very interesting road to Backlash.

Russo could do this for years on end and people won't care because of who it's coming from.

We all know Shawn was a nightmare to work with during that time, sometimes I feel like Russo piggybacks off of things and tells us stuff we already know and tries to put his own spin on things.

Yeah, Austin Rock had a great match, and Mick is pretty much just a spot brawler, but he had earned it, flipped the momentum over to the WWE away from WCW and it's was his year to at least get some shine, a la Bryan. He was massively over and the outcome could've been the same. We all knew that wasn't going to be Austin and Rock's last feud.

:yeshrug: You don't always get what you deserve in life. Mick got his chance to bask in Kang's spotlight the next year anyway.
