Don't get me wrong, two great matches can carry an otherwise decent Mania... Mania III's one of my faves, but all you ever hear about is Savage/Steamboat and Hulk/Andre... the other matches on there weren't epic but thoroughly entertaining enough to keep from getting bored. I can still point out the Bulldogs/Santana vs Hart Foundation/Davis match, Piper vs Adonis, or even the opener with the Can-Am Connection vs Muraco & Orton. They ain't gonna make any "best Mania match" lists, but they're still a good watch. That Mania X undercard is just sad tho'.

The Triple threat wasnt bad and had the phenomenal spot where cena managed to FU bigshow AND edge...

That Hunter/Orton match is right up there in the Pantheon of "Worst WrestleMania main events ever" with Hogan/Sid, Cena/Miz, Hunter/Batista and maaaaaybe Hunter/Jericho.

25 was top tier...a top 6 mania is fair to say...it has maybe a top five wwe match ever and a card that is way better than a bunch of manias
The logic of the match called for a street fight but they were tame because of the move for pg. the match itself was pretty good if you put that desire aside.

Even with that, I still thought is sucked outside of the first five minutes or so because they didn't even wrestle like there was a hot feud going on between them. They just wrestled a plodding, mediocre standard main event match. I might be more lenient on it if the circumstances were different, but I take context into consideration when judging matches (Case in point: Punk/Cena, MITB 2011).
Then, of course, the wrong guy goes over and makes the other guy look like a chump in doing so.
The reason this ppv did so low numbers was because of the two world title matches. Lesnar and Angle was not a huge draw at the time neither was Booker T. vs HHH. There was several botches that screwed this mania up. 1.) Taker match was terrible should've been just Taker vs Big Show 1 on 1. 2.) Lesnar missing the ssp botched the whole finish of the main event. 3.) Piper saying out loud watch out hulk before he cracks him with the pipe 
4.) Booker T. not beating HHH after hitting the harlem hangover. 5.) Austin vs Rock u can tell both were ready to retire at this point not their best match 6.) The camerman missing the ass shot of stacy keibler 
The venue was one of the best ever for Mania tho

25 is the definition of a one match show. Mitb and the world title triple threat match were solid but nothing special.
And blaming taker/hbk for HHH/orton sucking is bullsh!T. Taker/HBK went on in the middle of the show, there was plenty of time to build the crowd back up from that high.
