Wrestlemania 7 should have been Hogan/Warrior rematch?

If it wasn't for the gulf war and Vince turning Slaughter turncoat and rushing Hogan back in because of the whole real American thing was the original plan to have a Wrestlemania 6 rematch?

Granted Warrior and Macho was a classic one for the match and two for the moment with Elizabeth so i'm not sure I would want history altered but i'm sure whoever was around back then and conscious was itching for that rematch.

If gulf war didn't happen and that re-match went as planned who would Savage have worked with at mania 7?

Actually Warrior Hogan 2 or Flair Hogan should have happened at mania 8 instead of his match with Sid...I think after 7 or summerslam after 7 is when Warrior was fired the first time

Warrior and Hogan should have been the Rock Austin of its time with more than one mania main event match between the two

hmmmmm.....never thought about this, in general tho, about warriors career you can say this, like what if he did stick around all those years? would he have jumped to WCW in 93/94/95? Him being a lil stubborn and sticking to his principals really changed the course of history......

and about the actual topic, if they had a rematch at 7, I think Hogan would have to go up against Flair or savage at 8, and they coulda headlined 9 or 10 for the third match. Of course, this woulda killed Bret Hart and his chance at being a main event guy.
