I asked in the other thread, but What type of deal do they have with Shady? Not absolving Shady of anything, but I can’t think of any other major label that would sign anyone to a deal then allow them to release projects independently outside of that deal.

Does it really matter though? The BET awards matters more for the performances of the musicians but the awards themselves carry little weight.
