Where was this desire to win earlier in the season? Once it was obvious they weren't gonna make the playoffs thats when it was time to shut down AD with a bunch of fake injuries. They gonna pick 8-12 now and send it to Philly when they could of had a shot at picks 4-5 and set themselves up for the next 5-10 years. AD is the real deal breh they just need another piece.

If he's indeed the real deal they won't be able to languish at the bottom of the league for long. He's been playing his ass of late so what do you suggest they do...tell him to stop? Sit him? The Pelicans got hit with so many damn injuries, that shyt was crazy. They lost their top 7-8 scorers to injuries throughout the season. Especially when Holiday, Anderson, Smith all went down. So there's 3 starters down. Then playing Evans/Aminu/Steisma lineup was the worst fukkin' shyt ever.

With their full cast, I could see them fighter for the 7th or 8th spot, but the west is gonna be hard for a long ass time.
