The site in general has been a lot slower the past few days, DNS issue notwithstanding. Is the traffic the issue?

For instance, daps take 15 seconds...just took 10 seconds to even get to edit this post...replies take a while to load...etc

i havent noticed anything the past couple of days.

tonight its slow as shyt. traffic is high, shyt peaked awhile ago and crashed even and then the mysql server is getting lit up by this mass negging going on.

we're tweaking some things on the server but need to wait until normal traffic to see how things respond to the changes
