My boy is a cop and almost lost his job cause his baby moms said he hit her and sold drugs on the side, keep in mind dude is a church going bible thumper that has never touched drugs in his life. Dude got investigated and went through depression.

I still find it crazy that you can get arrested for what a women "says". No evidence needed at all.

Hmm... I'm more surprised that you didn't know this was the norm, friend. Basically, a women that you've never met before can go to a police station, tell them you've assaulted her, and the cops would arrest you based on her word and without any proof. You spend over 24 hours in jail and have to go through the system.
