North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Yeah.

It was something bout the album that was off.

Like it didn't have that Wu cohesive energy.

Everyone was in a different space.

Yet some will hearld it as one of their greatest.

It wasn’t pop, but it was treated as such. They definitely had a bigger budget.

It was a dope run tho :wow:

it was an impossible task though to follow up their previous work.

Wu-Tang Forever is one of the most disappointing albums in Hip-Hop history

GP-WU, Shy, Timbo King, ect. had that raw energy they should have passed the Wu on to them as "the next generation" and just did solo's

I think it's the best Wu-Tang album as a group. The solo albums are better than the group albums generally speaking.

The original being the 2nd best is kind of an unpopular opinion, but I've always liked the more mellow and somber RZA beats to the more rambunctious and uptempo beats that were all over the first album.

36 Chambers is 10 times better. :mjpls:

their second album had too much filler with songs like this

Wu Tang Forever was probably the most anticipated album of all time but that don’t make it better than 36 Chambers

The highs are much higher in my opinion.

The lows are probably that, sunshower, and dog shyt, but the rest of it is pretty good to me.

To me it's that shyt where rappers and producers talk about improving their craft and how they are way better than they used to be. Technically that may be true but in the final product that shyt comes out to technical. As fans we love and want that raw feeling which I think the album was missing some of.

And while I say that I do love the album. Them nikkas was spitting.

RZA's beats on that album have always been kinda eh to me besides For Heaven's Sake, Triumph, As High As WuTang Get, The Projects and Hellz WInd Staff. All the best beats were from 4th Disciple :yeshrug:
