Always kind of disappointed when these end up "just" being mashups.

Also can someone explain how this works with rights and finances? Not going at Fanon per se (love his production) but never understood how some producers could just entirely use rappers vocals and monetize them.

I think PWYW is fair in these cases or a really low price

Also cats like Knxwledge kind of create a whole new thing (me too) so it has it's place,

NGL I never really got into that style. I'm more and more an instrumentals guy so it pisses me off when some producers talk about "instrumental" tracks and there's entire song's lyrics on it lol. Also if I know the original it just makes me want to listen to the original. It's totally different thing when it's bits and pieces of some a capellas that are flipped, scratched etc. At least here you get from the title that it would either be a common album or a mashup. I kind of like Knxwledge production style but tbh I stopped listening to his "instrumental" tapes because of this. Sorry for the random rant lol

Theres like dozens of youtube wu mixes more in tune with actual wu sound that hitting over this rh.
