Must be for the fans only as I’ve watched this trailer and it left me confused. Is this an old time 50 Shades of Grey? Never read the book.

I got the book on my shelf but I haven't read it yet. Maybe this movie will push me to do so sooner than later

they’re saying it’s like the book in name only. But I found the audiobook on YouTube so ima peep. Apparently the original story was about a person of color turning evil due to white peoples.

But seems to be quite a lot of money put into this. Her last shyt was all over the place but not terrible imo. She’s def one of those directors where you gotta see what she did or tried to do.
