I basically only paid $10 for it (standard edition). I won't be buying next year's edition unless 2K makes some significant changes. I refused to pay $100 - 150 for this year's edition though.
2K needs to change their business model for WWE 2K going forward because NOBODY should have to pay $100 -150 for premium editions and the DLC is still locked behind a battlepass. I don't blame anybody that waits/passes on this year's game your not missing much. Showcase is pointless and needs to be done after this year's game.
I haven’t bought this since Rey mysterio was on the cover. But the shyt I’m hearing about this is wild. Battle passes where they lock wrestler variants behind a paywall when it’s been free in past iterations going on ten years. And this game honestly still looks like shyt. They still can’t get hair physics down at all

That's what this year's edition is they have championships & wrestlers that's been in the game for YEARS and it's either you have to play through CM Punk's showcase to unlock them (like Stone Cold & Bret Hart) or play a bunch of matches until you get enough credit to unlock them through tiers.
What's worse is that for the folks that paid for the premium editions and battlepass which was supposed to automatically give you all the DLC still has to play through tiers to unlock them. What makes it even more trashy is that you don't have to go through the tiers if you pay the nice price of $77+ to unlock all the content.
