WWE ring announcer Greg Hamilton has threatened legal action against former Roc Nation artist Westside Gunn.

Hamilton took to Instagram, stating Gunn used his voice on a music project without his permission.

Based on Hamilton’s comments on the post, he is seeking a settlement, or will be using WWE’s legal team against the rapper.
Westside Gunn is an avid wrestling fan, frequently attending WWE and AEW events. He has made several songs with references to wrestlers. He recently joined forces with rap legend Master P, investing in House Of Glory Wrestling.

He also runs the Buffalo Kids Gallery, it’s flagship location is located in his hometown of Buffalo, NY. AEW stars Butcher, Blade, and Allie have been featured in advertising for the brand.

Yeah...until you actually make something of your own.

Or would yall be cool with somebody making money off your work for free?

It's not his voice. It's WWE property like everything else they've sampled. They'll probably work out a settlement if they even think it's worth pursuing. This is someone that has a relationship with a number of their stars and is seemingly well liked across the industry.

EDIT: He deleted the Instagram post. Someone got in his ear.
