According to sources, WWE is said to be looking into the possibility of doing a Global women’s tournament. This would air on the WWE Network and feature numerous indy women's wrestlers.



As you'd imagine, the women’s tournament would be similar to the upcoming cruiserweight tournament. There would be a mix of current and indy talents and qualifying matches would take place in promotions like SHIMMER and others.
