WWE always tries to make new stars, but smarks boo em (Reigns) or do the wave n throw around beach balls during their matches (this past Monday) or when they finally do get a push, they STILL crap all over the booking. It's a no win with smarks.

Wwf needs to realize they in general will not make new stars in general.
The only reason why their grassroots setup of cena worked was because cena was smart talented and had the look to piggyback off of the world wide draw and phenom associated with eminem, which is of course connected to a black draw.
Or needs rub from a black draw like rocky and scsa and tyson.
So, reigns will never work in the same instance because those black entertainment based principals are not there draw wise for wwe to find a talent or have a talent gifted to them in a production to capitalize off of.
Plus, wwe in general.
Drops the ball when they get a chance to piggyback off of properties that do not contain black entertainment or ring sport based work principals.
Such as batista in guardians of the galaxy.
So, reigns being a success is pretty much wwe trying to get in on the ground floor.
When the rock possibly uses his cousin, reigns in some role in the future.
That is the only way I see the wwe actually making reigns into this showstopper based draw they would like him to be.

Past that the wwe has no idea how to make superstars.
if they are not connected to a ring sport based property that gains it's draw from a black principal.
