WWE has added a Monday night RAW TV taping at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York the night after the SummerSlam pay-per-view on August 24th.

WWE usually does not run back to back nights in the same city, let alone the same arena.

SummerSlam has been already sold-out and tickets for Monday night RAW is already on-sale. RAW should be a sellout as well.

Down below is what the advertisement reads like:

Come see the fallout of SummerSlam and all of your favorite WWE Superstars including John Cena, Bray Wyatt, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Rusev and many more!

apparently its difficult/expensive to film there or something like that...otherwise they'd have a trillion major events there

shyt isn't difficult, they've been doing it for decades :heh:

they're cheap, they want a show in NYC but don't want to pay that MSG premium anymore, that's why they do cheaper house shows on less expensive nights

I think it was Court Bauer on his MLW podcast that mentioned the Barclay Center is more profitable to run shows at. MSG has been the only game in town and need to step it up and get competitive.
