According to PWInsider.com, WWE cruiserweight Drew Gulak is said to have signed a full-time deal with WWE and he is expected to be finishing up his independent dates in the upcoming weeks.

In related news, WWE is said to be in “signing mode” right now, and is paying close attention to the independent scene. The company is reportedly working harder than ever to monitor independent talents, to the point that officials are watching iPPV events and compiling agents reports to track the progress of certain talents. This is very similar to what WWE does with its own talents to track live event progress.

Additionally, WWE has a new crop of recruits ready to report to the Performance Center on January 3rd. Names include Heidi Lovelace, Kimber Lee, Nixon Newell and Cheree Crowley (aka Evie) are all expected to be signed. The next WWE Performance Center tryout is currently scheduled for early February.

I mean aren't they always in signing mode.

I'll be interested when Lethal, Briocoes, Bucks, Zack Sabre Jr, Ricochet and Osprey make the leap if ever though

Doubt they get the Briscoes and Bucks anyway time soon if at all.

I thought Lethal was a surefire pick up but he re-signed with ROH. :dwillhuh: Ricochet is supposed to come to WWE after his LU contract expires. Briscoes are too controversial for WWE to pick up even though they've expressed interest in signing them. Bucks aren't needed. ZSJ is another guy who is great in the ring but lacks personality so he isn't needed either. Ospreay will probably retire within the next 5 years.

411MANIA | ROH News: Contracts Expiring Soon, Jay Lethal Expected To Re-Sign, Young Bucks vs. Hardys Possible For WrestleMania Weekend

PWInsider reports that the contracts of War Machine, Jay Lethal, BJ Whitmer, Steve Corino, Bobby Cruise, Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish will expire soon.

Jay Lethal is expected to re-sign with the company. Steve Corino has already departed ROH and is heading to the WWE Performance Center as a coach. His deal has not expired with ROH yet, so if for some reason his WWE job doesn’t work out he could still re-sign.

Wouldn't be surprised if they go after Matt Riddle. Getting a lot of buzz on the indies, doesn't rely on flips, was 4-0 in UFC and runs the UFC gimmick well. Plus they have the track record of signing and working with Evolve guys.

Riddle VS TJP the week b4 Perkins debuted on Raw. I was at this show :ehh:

Speaking of Evolve Ricochet been at a lot of Evolve stuff lately too.... Think he's def getting signed.

To me guys like Lethal and the Bucks are kinda big enough from RoH where going to WWE isnt a necessity in the internet age if they feel they can draw certain crowds and make money independently so I cant knock it.

Adam Cole is their #1 guy and has been for a while now. Every interview with recently signed or recently released guys mentions that he basically has a deal waiting for him whenever he wants it.

The Bucks make too much to take a NXT deal, and it’s hard to imagine the WWE not only opening up the checkbook for them, but placing them high enough up the card to warrant it.

Jeff Cobb and as @suflay mentioned Matt Riddle would be my guesses for upcoming signings, as well.

Cobb is still with LU and he'll probably stay with them for a little while longer.
