Goldberg is a small boost. The reason why everyone hype on Goldberg is because he hasn't done shyt since he left, not like Sting who kept wrestling, everyone wanted to relieve Goldberg. The problem though is that booking these days will bring Goldberg down.

Even if you have him beating people up he will get lost because there is no Fandom of Goldberg. Mostly just fans reliving the old days when WWE had to fight to stay alive.

Now this i agree with. If he gets the belt, loses it to brock, brock has the belt leading to summerslam, and drops it to someone they want to continue with the belt (balor / owens / strowman ) thats good booking. Hell, i'd have strowman win MITB in june and challenge brock for the belt in summerslam. But goldberg gotta go away after mania...and he probably wants to too.

They think doing flips & hitting picture perfect dropkicks is what's gonna put behinds in seats.

He's Goldberg. He got stripes to his name.
The general audience don't see some random 50 year old man in the main event. They see a legend.

They see the man who had one of the biggest runs in wrestling history. The man who trampled over just about every wrestler during the GOAT undefeated streak. The real fans never forgot.

A lot of these marks` perception on reality is diluted.

You tell me how well mania would sell without any of the legends on the card. The legends been keeping things afloat for a good 7-8 Years now.

When the wwe is panic mode cause the Indy darlings aren't hold it down like they should, they call in the guys that are gonna get ratings popping & the guys that are gonna have the stadium full for mania.

The Wwe doesn't fully believe these dudes & it's obvious.

People talk cm punk/Bryan being those dudes, but where they at now???

Bryan is done, finitio, ova. The body was weak.

Punk quit in a raging fit & never looked back. The mind was weak.

None of these dudes had it in them whether it was physical or mental to keep the company up & running for years to come.

I don't even hate the current roster, but it is what it is. Dudes gotta step up. At some point people gotta stop blaming the wwe for everything & hold these wrestlers accountable to some degree.
