According to Billi Bhatti and sportskeeda.com (via dirtysheets.net), Shane McMahon is set to wrestle Kevin Owens at the upcoming Hell in the Cell PPV. The reason for this is because Vince McMahon believes his son is a huge attraction, and internally. Shane is given a significant amount of credit for the success of WrestleMania 32. When Shane was added to WrestleMania 32, ticket sales jumped by 26,000 tickets and secondary market pricing jumped as well. Shane made $1.8 million, plus $300,000 in bonuses and royalties in his first year back. He is under a performer’s contract, meaning he has zero involvement in creative.
